Distance Running on the track requires much more Muscular Endurance than Muscle Strength & Power when trying to reach the top of the podium. Our High School Track Distance Weightlifting 101 Program includes a series of foundational body weight movements that will lead to the athlete gaining strength, while simultaneously keeping muscle mass growth down to a minimum.
